Misdemeanor court in Baquba issued a set penalty provisions in a number of issues were investigated by Diyala Office of Investigations one of the CoI Investigation departments. The number of convictions for the period from 31 / 1 and up to 17/2/.2011,relating to waive the social protection network, was (six terms) on a group of employees for having a combination of salary from the social Network in addition to the salary from the agencies where they work. While five of the convicted work in Diyala University, one of them is workingin the FPC of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. The sentences issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 240 of the Penal Code, and are ranged between simple imprisonment and financial fines, with giving the right of the affected side to review the civil courts to claim compensation for damages. All those convicted paid the discharged amounts they received from the network of social protection .
