COI’s Directorate of Investigation – Nineveh sized manipulation cases of several real estate files in the Real Estate Registration Office in the province.
The Commission’s Investigation Office, while it talking about the details of the case, mentioned that Nineveh Investigation staff’s Second Audit Team and Detection and Judicial Section moved to Real Estate Registration Office in Nineveh - Al-Zuhoor and seized a number of the properties files were damaged and replaced with other new pages.
The office clarified that the preliminary investigations led to disclose selling a plot of land, it file was manipulated, with amount (IQDs 2, 000,000,000) billion.
In a separated operation, the Directorate of Investigation’s staff seized an employee at Real Estate Registration Office - Nineveh - Al-Zuhour while he receiving amount of money from a petitioner for completing the letter of authentication of petition, clarifying that the suspect bargained the petitioner to pay the money in return for carrying out his petition.
