COI reveled issuing two new subpoenas against former Chairman of board of Najaf International Airport, for manipulations in number of contracts and projects signed by airport management.
COI Investigation Office, in the course of its speech about the details of the two case it investigated and referred to the judiciary, indicated that Najaf investigation court on integrity cases issued a subpoena against former Chairman of board of Najaf International Airport according to provisions of article 340 of P.C due to the violations in the signed contract between the management of the airport and one of the trading contracting companies concerning supplying specialized equipment for the ground operations department at the airport.
The Office added that the second subpoena was issued due to seizing manipulation in 54 receipts in maintenance department at the airport, pointed out that COI’s team specialized in auditing the works and projects of the airport seized manipulation in receipts of which most were without signature, name and stamp of the supplied Party.
Its noteworthy that COI had announced on the fifth of the current month that Najaf investigation court court on integrity cases in Najaf, issued a subpoena against board chairman and members of Najaf International Airport for causing intentional damage to public funds.
