Investigation Office /COI revealed that it thwarted attempt to seize a real estate belongs to the Ministry of Finance, noting that the area of the property is (88) dunums and the value of it two and half billion dinars.
The office, while it talking about the operation, which it carried out according to writ, pointed out that the staff of COI’s investigation in Kirkuk seized suspects have built residential houses on a part of the property belonging to the Ministry of Finance, adding that the area of the real estate exceeded (88) dunums, and estimated price is two and half billion dinars.
The office adding, that the staff of COI’s investigation office in Kirkuk organized proper seizure minute and was presented with witnesses before investigation judge, accordingly, he issued an arrest warrant against the suspects in accordance with resolution no.154 of 2011.
COI announced in the middle of this month seized five suspects caught an act of taking over lands belong to state in Kirkuk and Muthanna.
