CoI commissioner - Head of FBSA, Dr. Salah Noori Khalaf - gave Ministry of Culture a gift he had received from an Arab official.
The commissioner informed the Cabinet on details of the gift which he received from the Head of the Qatar Audit Bureau, indicating in a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister that he received the gift which is a luxury watch (Rolex) during his visit to Qatar to sign a cooperation agreement between FBSA and Qatar Accounting Bureau on April 29-30 of this year.
The commissioner mentioned that he gave this gift to Ministry of Culture, as done by the Prime Minister (Adel Abdul Mahdi), who decided on the seventh of May to hand over the gifts received from foreign officials to the Ministry of Culture, as Iraqi state properties; to use it in accordance with the public interest.
