The office explained that, implementing to the decision of the Judicial Investigation Commission specialized in integrity cases in Nineveh province, thus it moved to the house of the detained accused, Chairman of the Committee composed in the Office of the province - the office of the former governor, due to withdraw the funds of the development of the regions of 2018, indicating that its staff was able to seize three seals, knowingly the first seal under the name of the accused, and the second represents his seal and signature, and the third represents (governor of Nineveh - reconstruction directorate and local administration engineering).
The office added that the operation of seizure was conducted under the direct supervision of the law enforcement authorities in the province with the attendance of the Mayor of the distract and the operation also seized a receipt from a civil company amounted to $ 7200 as down payment to sell a car and a list of passengers, including the accused, in addition to arrest employee in the governorate office who worked as a driver of the accused.
The office revealed late last April that it was managed to seize nearly half a million dollars in the house of one of the relatives of the accused that was suspected to belongs to the Office of the province, while COI announced on the twenty-second of the same month concerning withdrawn the funds before the dismissal of the former governor of Nineveh, in addition to seize 14 officials and employees in the office of the province of Nineveh, and seizing more than 15 billion dinars that was in their trust.
