The Investigations Office in Commission of Integrity has revealed that it managed to return Real Estate of a value more than seven billions Iraqi dinars in Basra province, the accused was brought before justice for forging documents.
On the details of the arresting operation which implemented by court arrest warrant, the Investigations Office said that its employees in Basra apprehended the land documents in the Real Estate department of Basra province. Detectives in Basra Directorate found that the accused had forged identifications for (dead) real owners of the land, so that he could transfer the ownership of the land of 61 Olks . The land belongs to the Ministry of Finance / State Properties Directorate.
In cooperation with the General Inspector of the ministry of interior, the Investigations Office teams succeeded to arrest the accused, who forged false Identifications for the dead real users of the land in order to transfer the ownership and then resale it to people as residential lands.
The Investigation Directorate had prepared an official arrest report supported by the apprehended evidences. The Directorate brought the accused before the investigative judge who decided to detain him until completions of the investigation.
