COI’s Basra investigation Office managed to seize a violation over a real estate that belonged to the state in the province, indicating that the area of the property was 1000 meters, and the estimated price amounted to one and a half billion dinars.
CoI’s office of investigation indicated, in the course of its speech about the details of the operation, that the team in Basra investigation office seized an accused who squatted a land belonged to Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and that he exploited it illegally to construct a car wash station, explaining that the land was located in the center of Basra and its estimated price amounted to (1.500.000.000) dinars.
The office added that a proper minutes was organized for the seizure operation that was carried out according to an arrest warrant, in addition to referring the accused before the competent investigative judge, who decided to arrest him pending investigation.
Noteworthy to mention that COI announced that it has been able to recover many real estates in the province of Basra to the state property, the last of which was the implementation of two operations led to seizing manipulations, forging real estate files and recovering property belonging to the municipality of Basra.
