COI explained details of arrest the director of accounts at municipality of Diwanyia province accused of embezzlement of state funds.
In the context of seizure details, which was carried out pursuant to a judicial writ, COI Investigation Office pointed out the implementation of arrest operation by the staff of the investigation office against the director of accounts at Sinnyia municipality, based on the provisions of article 315 of Penal Code.
The initial reports of the seizure indicate that the accused was caught in the embezzlement of the state money and the organized of false turn in receipts for the sums he had stolen for his personal account.
The accused was brought with the exhibits to be presented before the competent investigating judge, who decided to detain him under investigation.
COI Office of Investigation carried out several qualitative operations in the province, the head of power follow-up committee was recently caught in the act of bribe in Qadisyah. DG Assistant and the Director of a hospital in the province were arrested; for they committed offences, excessive in transactions of procedures of medicines, medical supplies and laboratory equipment. The director of Al-Rafidain Bank branch- on the right side was charged with bribery, and the director of accounts of Diwaniya Educational Hospital, who was present at the crime scene, as a result of collusion with the first accused (Director of bank branch).
