Manipulation and forgery cases in the records of a number of state-owned properties in the real estate registration of Abu Al- Khasib were seized, COI Office of Investigations announced. The manipulated properties in its records were registered by number of persons’ names under counterfeited documents, Office indicates.
While talking about the details of operation carried out under a writ, the Office indicated that investigative team of Basra Directorate of Investigation who visited the Real Estate Registry in Abu Al- Khasib was able to seize manipulation in the basic record of five properties for an area of (433 dunums & 49 acres).
The property belonged to the State Real Estate Office\ Ministry of Finance and was transferred to other persons’ ownership, in conniving with some real estate registry’s personnel by using counterfeit documents.
