Establishing special e-mail to receive citizens’ complaints, grievances related to electoral process

The Commission of Integrity (CoI) announced the establishment of the e-mail (election@nazaha.iq) to receive complaints and grievances of citizens related to the electoral process, indicating that the period to receive complaints and grievances starts from 21/6/2018 and ends on Monday 25/6/2018.

CoI pointed out the possibility of filing complaints at its headquarters or that of the Board of Supreme Audit within the specified period for those who cannot send the complaint to the above-mentioned e-mail.

CoI indicated that according to the Ministerial Council’s Resolution no. 234 of year 2018, which includes the formation of a committee to receive complaints from citizens regarding the electoral process and administratively investigate them with the members of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission and its employees who caused the violation of the electoral process; and to set the procedures – it has established an Official e-mail for the Committee through which complaints and grievances of citizens regarding the electoral process are received.
