CoI investigation office in Diyala revealed for being able to prevent waste more than half a billion dinar of the public money by seizing completed sale petitions of plot of lands in contrast to the regulations in (Ba’quba Municipality Directorate).
While speaking about the details of sizing process that implemented according to the judicial report, the above office clarified that its staffs seized (47) sale petition of residential plot of lands completed and approved upon, indicating that its initial investigations have led to such petitions, which completed in contrast to the regulations and prices less than prevalent real price that was estimated by estimating committee in (Ba’quba Municipality), which caused wasting in public money more than half a billion dinar.
While the above office pointed out that his staffs have been able to seize (212) petitions for selling plot of lands before sending them to the approving person, where these petitions were referred according to the decision of investigation judge to external audit section in the office for auditing then specifying the amount of wasting in public money.
