CoI investigation office in Karbala in cooperation with the National Intelligence Service arrested accused persons falsified official documents by using forged seals.
The Office pointed out that its staff carried out an arrest operation based on a judicial arrest warrant in accordance with the provisions of Article 289 of the Penal Code, noting that the accused were caught red-handed with falsifying official documents using false seals in selling lands belonging to State and other Iraqi citizens living outside the country.
It added that during the operation, documents and instruments were seized, in addition to the seals, confirming organizing a seizure minutes of all the seized items, as well as the investigation papers and presenting them to the competent investigating judge.
