After foiling attempt to steal more than 200 billion dinars… Investigation Office reveals issuing verdict in presence against one accused of the Agricultural Bank case in Emara

COI Investigation Office revealed issuing a verdict in present against one of the accused in the attempt of embezzlement amounted to 211,000,000,000 billion dinars in the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Emara branch.

The office indicated in the course of its speech, the detailed of the case, where Maysan Criminal Court sentenced the convicted to five years and one month imprisonment by issuing a verdict in present. The accused worked as accountant in the Agricultural Bank in Emara. It was worth to mention approving of the involvement of the accused through making deal and the participation with other accused persons whom their case sorted in the attempt of embezzlement amounted to 211,000,000,000 billion dinars of the bank.

The verdict issued according to the article 316 PC based on articles 47, 48 and 49, where an affected party has the right [the Agricultural Cooperative Bank] to request compensation when the decision came to final steps.

Knowingly COI revealed on 30/4/2017 that their investigation and auditing teams managed to prevent wasting of more than 200 billion dinars from the budget development of the regions allocated to the province of Maysan. The office conformed the seizures of the volitions during the operation of the payment in the Agricultural Bank in Emara branch. Moreover, the office stressed that adopting their measures led to receiving the Agricultural Bank to the receipts that conformed its rights to return the paid amount, in addition to obtaining the annual interest value of more than nine billion dinars.
