COI Baghdad instigation office staff with cooperation with Inspector General Office in Ministry of Water Recourses, managed to seize 224 petitions of loans for ghost employees in foreign bank in Baghdad. It indicated that the operation made according to judicial memo.
COI investigation office mentioned in the course of its investigation the detailed of the seizure operation, where the staff of Support and Judicial Seizure Unit in Baghdad office, moved to the bank branch and they managed to seize forged documents and letters of assurance verification for 224 ghost employees that belongs to General Authority of Ground Water in Ministry of Water Recourses. The primary investigation indicated that the forgery operation made by the representative of General Authority of Ground Water of the bank, in addition to that the two legal representative in Ministry of Water Recourses and the branch of the foreign bank in Baghdad requested to file a complaint against the negligent employees and the director of the bank branch in Baghdad and all those whom approved involved and negligence.
The office added that all the petition of loans for ghost employees amounted to 1,800,000,000 dinars were seized and a proper minutes was organized of the seized materials and it was submitted before the specialized judge of investigation who decided to sort the paper of investigation against the former fugitive accused of the branch in Baghdad according to the provision of the article 11/444 of PC.
